When you call us for an estimate we ask a series of questions to provide us with all the information we need in determining the correct price and whether there will be any additional charges. We will let you know upfront and the choice will be yours. We do sanitize, deodorize and prespray all stains prior to cleaning at no charge.

Do scotchguard or fabric protectors really work?

These won't prevent your carpets from getting dirty. Their purpose is to protect your carpet from permanent stains and prolong the life of the fabric, which works well if applied properly.

How do you treat pet stains and odor?

Dogs and cats do not sweat so their urine contains alkaline salts that absorb moisture out of the air. Pet urine never dries. It becomes a feeding ground for bacteria which causes odor, staining and discoloration. Minor conditions can be handled with a combination of germicidal and enzyme surface treatments. Major conditions require the padding to be replaced and floor treatment in addition to treating the carpet

What do you do to protect furniture?

We place plastic tabs and styrofoam blocks under all furniture, where needed, to prevent moisture from damaging wood furniture and stains from bleeding onto carpets.

How often should I have my carpets cleaned?

Most major carpet mills recommend first cleaning at 14-18 months All other cleanings should be done every 12 months with normal wear. Excesive traffic or if you have children and pets it is recommended to have them cleaned every 6 months.

Health and Risk Factors

As Carpet Specialists we know very well that carpets accumulate a lot of dust and dirt over a period of time. A dirty carpet may accumulate microscopic organisms like dust mites, fungus, bacteria etc. which is unhygienice and bad for the family members.
